What does the "House for Growth" mean?

This is the general concept of building a home, in which the entire process is divided into independent stages:

Stage 1

Building a home box with a simple roof and finishing to a residential condition only on the first floor.

The attic remains as a large attic.

Advantages of this approach:

At the initial stage, you save on roof insulation and finishing the second floor.
This allows you to bring the holiday of the housewarming closer.
In many of our projects, the first floors are full two-room apartments, which are enough for a cozy residence of a small family.
Stage 2 (can be done several years after the settlement)

Having gathered with new forces, you warm the attic, treat the walls and ceiling and connect the heating (outputs for connecting the batteries and water supply are left in advance).

And in a few years you get another living floor.

For some reason, in our country it is believed that if you already build a house, then so that the area would suffice for all, including distant and near relatives and friends. And thus have a very limited budget. Quite often it happens that there is not enough money for the continuation and completion of construction.

And cyto, overgrown with weeds, a massive foundation. From year to year there are dusty, unfinished boxes.

At the initial stage, we offer only the necessary premises. It:

bathroom
bedroom
living room is connected to the kitchen
hallway
tambour. In our climate it is needed. Tambour reduces heat loss and prevents frost-free air from entering the hallway
Granny or guests will arrive without a night out.

Modern gas boilers are quite compact, aesthetic and well placed in the kitchen or in the hallway.

From the studio you can go to the plot.

In the future, a wooden terrace can be attached to the house.

As we have said, instead of a mansard floor there is a large attic.

This approach will reduce the construction time and, accordingly, the cost.

I would like to note, and it is verified on its own experience that the enthusiasm for building a house is enough for a year.

Then this process turns into a boring job, and then another couple or three years - into hard labor. This should also be taken into account when choosing a home project.

The family happily met her new home, quietly settled down, met with her neighbors.

A beautiful lawn grows, apple-pears.

It takes several years. The family replenished or grown up children. Parents with teens in one room are already quite uncomfortable.

What to do?

Stage 3

We divide the living room from the kitchen with a light drywall partition and get the children's space. It is comfortable in how to play and do lessons. Or maybe this is a parent room? If in the hallway to separate the place where the boiler is installed, then a wonderful storage-wardrobe is obtained.
From the garden side to the house add a terrace.
And here you can relax a bit and rest from construction.
