Wooden houses - as we ourselves made a smoke pipe
When building our wooden house, it was decided to build a brick pipe. It was calmer from the point of view of fire safety and, as it seemed to us, easier at construction. In fact, it was easier to make a pipe from the carcass, since the open fire in the house was not planned. Frame houses are usually trying to build from lightweight structures.
A modern gas boiler can emit low-temperature gases in plastic pipes. So we overpaid. After all, for a heavy brick pipe, a foundation is needed, and the work is not cheap.
So, for the part of the pipe which is located in the underground and stands on the foundation, we chose a red full brick. And that part which in the house and above we make from a silica brick.

Photo report:
We import red clay bricks for the base of the pipe and white silicate for its upper part with ventilation ducts.

For ventilation ducts we use galvanized pipe 100mm, for the flue channel gas boiler stainless steel pipe 150mm

Stainless tees with revision opening and condensate drainage

Construction of a wooden frame house
The foundations and foundation of the smoke and ventilation pipe. Since the foundation is in the '' heat '' of the technical building of the frame house, it can be made of shallow-depth (400 mm)

We adhere to the vertical of the pipe by pulling the thread through the ceiling from the beams of the second floor of the wooden house.

The laying of the pipe with ventilation ducts is made of silicate bricks

Ventilation channel vestibule - a boiler room of a wooden house with a diameter of 100 mm

Channels located in a warm room may not heat (except for the flue channel), those located above the floor of the 2nd floor are insulated with mineral wool. For fire protection of wooden houses, the smoke canal is located in the center of the pipe, and is insulated with mineral wool. By norms, it is located 380 mm from the interior of the flue channel to the wooden elements.

Kitchen ventilation ducts, for natural ventilation and kitchen hoods for a wooden house

For the laying of the pipe on the roof were built temporary stages.

All channels are clad as the pipe grows. In total there are 7 channels in the pipe

Cover the upper part of the pipe with a rainbow opener

It looks like a ready pipe. It remains to make an adjoining to the roof of a wooden house.

Side pipe connection. All joints are additionally opaque sealant.

The upper adjoining pipe draws water to the sides
The lower adjoining to the pipe draws water from the pipe to the roof
