We make a horizontal waterproofing of a frame house

It is very important not to forget to execute horizontal waterproofing. It will not be possible to fix it.

Waterproofing is arranged at the top of the cap. It will protect the tree from capillary moisture, which will climb on the pillars of the foundation and cap.

We applied euroruberoid. This is a modern roll material, very durable, consisting of glass fiber impregnated with a mixture of bitumen and special polymers.

First, the top of the foundations should be covered with a special primer - a primer. The primer can be prepared independently by dissolving bitumen in gasoline or white spirit. It should be borne in mind that it is impossible to use diesel fuel to dissolve bitumen, since it does not dry up.

Apply primer to one layer preferably on a dry surface.

Apply primer with roller, brush or brush. Consumption - 0,5 - 1 l per 1 m2.

A very thick primer can be diluted with gasoline.

To handle the top of the foundation, we needed about 10 liters of primer.

Remember, the primer is flammable!

After the primer dries, it usually happens the next day, we begin to surf the Euroruberoid. Before the work begins, the roll is best cut into strips at the width of the cap. The roll is easily cut with a conventional knife, which then should be washed with gasoline from the residue of bitumen. Swim sandwich with a special gas burner, but it is possible and a soldering lamp.

The bottom surface is warmed up and laid on a coated primer surface, and from the top gently pressed hands with mittens or trowel.

It is desirable to use Euro ruberoid without splashes 2.5 to 3 mm thick.
