On the sunny slope of the roof, it is possible to place solar panels with a capacity of 5-5.5 kW. Such a station is optimal for a private house with an area of 100-150 m2:
In the summer, such a system can produce about 600-700 kWh per month, which fully covers the needs of an average family (lighting, refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioner).
In a year, such a station generates about 5,500 – 6,000 kWh of energy.
With a hybrid inverter and 5-10 kWh batteries, this house can stay powered during extended outages.
10 panels on a sunny slope is a good start, but for complete energy independence (especially in winter), it is advisable to consider moving the panels to another slope if it has the appropriate orientation.
