Passive house project Dnipro 3

The project is a passive or energy efficient home. The house will become passive or energy efficient depends not only on the thickness of the insulation, but also on the orientation of the house by country of light and the quality of work performed. With a favorable orientation and high quality of the insulation, the energy costs for heating and hot water supply, compared to a traditional house, can be reduced by a factor of 9. Solar photovoltaic panels can produce 9600 kW per year. A heat pump will eliminate the use of gas and solid fuel. This house is desirable to put the entrance to the north, then the roof slope with solar panels will be oriented to the south.
To reduce heat losses from the northern facade, only one window is provided.

On the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen, combined with a living room and with access to a terrace, a bedroom of about 19 m2, a bathroom and a boiler room. Under the stairs you can place the pantry. On the second floor there are three bedrooms, a dressing room and a bathroom. Such a house is perfectly adapted for a family of 4-5 people.

All energy-efficient projects of the Dnepr series, including a project with a basement, you can see if you type “Dnepr” at the bottom of the site in search.
