A project of a comfortable attic house. A special feature of the project is the location on the ground floor of two bedrooms.
The second floor is attic. On the second floor there are two living rooms of 25 and 23 m2 and a bathroom. The height of the wall from which the roof begins is 1.25 m. This wall height allows you to conveniently position a bed, armchair or chest of drawers against the wall. The ceiling height on the second floor is 2.7 m, the ceiling height of the first floor is 2.87 m
The foundation of the house is designed for ordinary soils: homogeneous, not subsiding, with a nominal design pressure on the ground of 1.2 kg / cm2 and the absence of groundwater. The freezing depth is assumed to be 1 m. The project stipulates that in order to prevent the soil from getting wet under the foundation, it is necessary to make a blind area around the perimeter of the house. The site should be made of asphalt concrete 30 mm thick, 1.5 m wide on a concrete base 150 mm thick. Horizontal waterproofing under walls and floors should be made of two layers of euroruberoid to be fused. The vertical waterproofing of the walls should be coated with hot bitumen twice.
The floor of the first floor is to be made on a concrete base with a thickness of 100 mm, reinforced with a steel mesh 150x 150 mm. Insulate the floor with 150 mm thick expanded polystyrene. On top of the expanded polystyrene, arrange a 50mm thick cement-sand screed reinforced with a 100x100 mm mesh. The outer and inner walls of the house are made of 400 mm thick D400 aerated concrete blocks. A monolithic reinforced concrete belt is designed on top of the walls. The partitions of the first floor are made of aerated concrete blocks with a thickness of 100 mm. The partitions of the second floor are plasterboard. The floors are wooden. If necessary, you can replace the wooden floors with reinforced concrete slabs or monolithic reinforced concrete.
The roof is gable, simple in execution. Wooden rafters. As a roof covering, you can use profiled steel sheets, metal or bituminous shingles. For roof insulation, in those places where the roof is in contact with warm rooms, it is planned to apply insulation with basalt wool 350 mm thick.
For heating a house and preparing hot water, it is possible to use both a solid fuel boiler and a gas boiler or electrical appliances. A large boiler room makes it possible to install several heating devices. To reduce heating costs, it is possible to use a heat pump. This appliance is the most economical device for both home heating and hot water preparation. Consuming 1 kW. The heat pump produces electrical energy from 4 to 5 kW. thermal energy. You can read more about the heat pump on our website in the "Engineering systems" section.
Ventilation from the boiler room, kitchen and bathrooms is natural with the use of ventilation ducts and windows. House water supply from a well. Introduce the water pipe into the house under the foundation, at a depth of at least 1.8 m. Sewerage - using local treatment facilities, consisting of a reinforced concrete or plastic septic tank. Exterior decoration of the house - decorative plaster or painting.
