This is a popular project of a two-story energy-saving house with walls of gas blocks. This project is part of the Masha series of projects. The house is square in plan. This makes it possible to somewhat reduce the area of external walls and the consumption of wall materials. On the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen combined with a living room. The living room has a fireplace that can be used as a backup source of heating. In the living room is a staircase to the second floor. Such a planning solution allowed to get rid of the corridor. On the first floor, there is a bathroom, a dressing room or pantry and a bedroom. From the garden side to the house is attached a covered terrace to which you can exit from the living room and bedroom. The second floor consists of four bedrooms and a bathroom.
To heat the house you can use the gas boiler located in the kitchen. When using electric boiler or heat pump, they can be placed in the dressing room.
The design scheme, with a longitudinal bearing wall, is simple and rational.
The house is covered with a hipped roof.
The popularity of this project is due to the simplicity and rationality of planning.
If you intend to use a solid fuel boiler, then you need a spacious boiler room. Such a boiler room is provided for in the project “Masha SE 12”.
