A project of a two-story 9 x 9 m two-story house with four bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace and a terrace, which is easy to build.

The main idea of this project is to get a simple in construction, but roomy and maximally comfortable two-story house designed for a family of four to five people. The house has a square shape. Dimensions of the house in terms of 9 x 9m. Due to its small size, the house fits perfectly in a small area of 4-6 acres.

In front of the entrance is a spacious porch covered with a pitched roof. Entrance to the house is through a small vestibule with an area of 2.3 m2. Through the vestibule you can get into the boiler room and hallway. The area of the boiler house is 4.3 m2, which makes it possible to install both a gas or electric boiler, and a solid fuel boiler. The hallway area is 6.3m2 and the width is 1.7 m. This allows you to easily install a wardrobe for outerwear to the right of the door. On the left is a bathroom in which it is supposed to place a toilet, washbasin, washing machine and shower. A washing machine and shower are placed under the stairs.

To the right is the kitchen combined with the living room. The area of this room is 36.6 m2. The kitchen-living room has clear zoning. One part, located closer to the entrance, is the kitchen area in which there is a refrigerator, stove, sink and worktop with kitchen cabinets for dishes. In the kitchen area it is convenient to place a full dining table for 4-6 people or a kitchen “island”.

The recreation area is located opposite the kitchen. It provides the ability to install a fireplace next to which the TV is perfectly placed. Opposite there is a soft corner. An exit to the terrace of 14 m2 is designed from the living room. The terrace is covered with a roof. In the back of the house, behind the flight of stairs, is a bedroom or study with an area of 11.6 m2.

The second floor consists of three bedrooms ranging from 11.6 to 16.6 m2. At two bedrooms two small dressing rooms are designed. In addition, on the second floor there is a pantry, which can serve as a dressing room and a bathroom with an area of 6.7 m2.

The floor of the first floor is 50 cm above ground level. The ceiling height in the premises of the first floor is 2.87 m, the ceiling height on the second floor is 2.55 m. The height of the house, from the top of the roof to the ground is 9.3 m.

Base tape made of monolithic reinforced concrete. Foundations are designed for simple homogeneous soils and the absence of groundwater. The depth of the foundations is 1 m. Before the start of construction, it is necessary to carry out geological surveys under the location of the future home and adjust the construction of the foundations. The floors of the first floor on a slab of monolithic concrete 10 cm thick. A layer of waterproofing is laid on concrete, then 15 cm polystyrene foam which is covered with a reinforced cement-sand screed.

The walls of a two-story house are designed from made of brick 380 mm thick with an external thermal insulation of 150 mm. Ceilings on the first and second floor of standard reinforced concrete panels. A panel made of foam plastic 35 cm thick is laid on a panel located above the second floor. A cement screed is placed on top of it.
The roof is four-pitched. Rafters and other elements of the roof are wooden. Roofing - shingles. In the case of replacing light bituminous tiles with heavy ceramic tiles, it is necessary to calculate and strengthen the roof structures. A roof slope of 25 degrees is perfectly suitable for both bituminous and metal tiles. Under the roof is a technical loft. Entrance to the attic through the hatch, which is located in the corridor of the second floor.

The exterior walls of this two-story house are decorative plaster. The walls of the first floor are proposed to be covered with relief plaster of cold shades, the walls of the second floor are covered with smooth plaster. It is proposed that the base and pipes on the roof be lined with decorative brick-like tiles for outdoor use.
