An effective energy conservation program before developing the Energy Efficiency section.

To develop such a program, all the factors that influence the consumption of energy resources are evaluated. An action plan is then drawn up with an impact assessment and payback period. Arranging items in the order of execution comes from the most efficient and quickly pays off to the least rational or having the longest return on investment.

The Energy Saving Program consists of the following sections:

•     Data on all energy consumption in previous periods (electricity, gas, heat consumption);
•     Estimated data on the building after the energy audit (compliance with energy standards, major problems ...);
•     The section on gas consumption reduction consists of measures for repairing or replacing equipment, balancing and tuning works, installing additional automation and control systems, measures for insulation of pipelines and enclosures;
•     To reduce power consumption, the lighting fixtures are replaced by LED fixtures; for automatic control of lighting on / off, installation of motion sensors and light sensors, installation and adjustment of frequency controllers on pumps or equipment having electric motors (when working at enterprises);
•     Measures to reduce heat consumption if the building or enterprise is connected to the district heating system. For this purpose it is planned to carry out works on insulation of enclosing structures; sealing of leaks in walls, slopes, junctions; replacement of windows and doors for energy efficient; installation of heat recovery systems in the ventilation system;
•     For businesses, energy efficiency programs include solutions for the use of secondary energy; for agro-complexes the possibility of using production wastes for thermal energy production and the possibility of cogeneration are being studied;
•     The possibility of using alternative energy systems (photovoltaics, solar systems, heat pumps) is evaluated
•     The costs of servicing the planned systems are comprehensively assessed;
•     The listed sections assess the possibility of borrowing funds or loans for the implementation of activities. The final section comprehensively assesses the impact of energy efficiency measures and draws up a balance of available resources and a comprehensive chart of planned savings.
