House projects designed by the Passive house standard

проекты пассивных домов

Passive house projects are designed according to the passive house institute requirements and are the most energy-efficient of all.

Such houses should consume no more than 15 kW / m2 per year for heating. Which is 8 times less than the current standards for energy conservation.

The construction of a passive house is the most profitable investment, because you save not only on energy in the future, but also on the construction of energy supply, the cost and power of equipment and the size of the boiler room in the house. Such a house is easy to heat and cool only with a system of underfloor heating or through ventilation.

All projects according to this standard are subject to mandatory certification and verification according to the PHPP program (passive house planning package) for compliance with the requirements of a passive house.

The main task of a passive house is to radically reduce energy consumption for heating, cooling and hot water.

Achieving the passive energy consumption parameter in Ukraine is a difficult but real task. To do this, we must very carefully approach the choice of area and layout of the house. The location of the windows should be aligned with the light.

Window size should be optimized in terms of energy consumption and energy loss. Large windows on the south side in winter allow free energy, but on the other hand, overheating occurs through such windows in the summer. To avoid overheating, passive and active sun protection should be used.

The next step in improving a passive home is to build an active home. Which, in addition to unique energy efficiency, provides ideal conditions for the quality of illumination, air exchange and ideal temperature conditions. Also, such a house should generate more energy than it consumes. An active home should be built from materials that have the least impact on the environment.
